J Balvin has done the 1, the 2 and the 3. The 4 is next, and on September 11 Sneaker News ran the clearest in-hand photos so far. The colorway is the all-yellow "Lemonade" (IW2872-700), not the multi-color pair he wore on stage earlier. Expected date: September 25. Retail: $225. Expect a raffle from Jordan and the usual boutiques before any SNKRS drop.

## What the photos show The whole shoe is flooded in one yellow. The panels carry a croc-style texture across most of the upper. The collar has a glossy finish. The lace dubrae reads "SOLO HAZLO," Spanish for "Just Do It." The heel gets his smiley-face logo, the same mark that's been on every Balvin Jordan since the 1 in 2020. He debuted the rear angle himself during the World Cup opening ceremony performance this summer.

## The Balvin run so far The Air Jordan 1 "Colores y Vibras" in 2020 was the start: tie-dye, clouds, the smiley on the heel. The Air Jordan 2 in 2022 went celestial. The Air Jordan 3 "Rio" in 2023 pulled from Medellín and Río de Janeiro with the flag-tone cloud print. Each one has been loud, personal, and sold through. The 4 continues the sequence on the retro that's been Jordan Brand's best seller for most of the decade.

## Why it matters beyond the raffle Balvin is one of two Latin artists with a real signature footwear program; the other wears three stripes. He's Colombian, from Medellín, and every shoe has carried that home. Jordan Brand giving him a run through the numbered retros, one model at a time, is a kind of trust the brand rarely extends outside its athlete roster. For the 25-45 crowd that grew up on the OG 4s, this is the collab with the most swagger on the fall calendar.

## The rest of the collab slate House of Heat's fall roundup puts Balvin at the top of the collab list, ahead of Awake NY's two Air Jordan 6s (blue and pink takes on the Infrared), Mowalola's Air Jordan 14 and 14 Mule (September 18), SoleFly's Air Jordan 5 in October, and the APB x Air Jordan 11 Low. No Travis Scott Jordan is announced for the season.
