Meek's answer was to reframe the whole thing as a public-interest case: Ak is "programming suburban kids," he "profits off of people's pain," and Meek pulled up receipts from a 2024 civil suit and a 2023 stream controversy to make the point.
## Why this matters more than the usual back-and-forth Both men are right about one thing and wrong about another. Meek's underlying critique is real: the biggest hip-hop media personality in the country built a business on other people's cases, and the Durk trial coverage was a case study. But asking a crowd for a man's home address isn't media criticism, it's the exact kind of move that ends up read aloud in a courtroom later. And Ak's gun wall is not a de-escalation; it's a caption that could be Exhibit B.
