The streamer who outdrew the Iceland wind last week came home to a different kind of storm. This one is inside his own house.
## How it got here Reginald "Reggie" Travers, who streams as Lil Rodney Son, announced on Sept. 26 that he was leaving Clover Boys, the creator group Kai Cenat backs, saying he felt pushed aside, per win.gg. Over the next four days the complaints turned into accusations against other members, and on a Sept. 30 Instagram Live titled "Truth," Reggie made allegations involving RaKai and Kai. Dexerto reports Kai rejected the allegations outright.
## RaKai's statement RaKai had already answered on X on Sept. 29: "I never got touched in any way growing up and not by my family or my friends. I already get enough hate and controversy as it is to now have this on my back. Please don't believe everything you read on the internet." That's the on-record statement from the person the claims are about, and it's a denial.
## What Kai said Kai went live Sept. 30. Per Dexerto, he challenged Reggie to take any evidence to law enforcement and said he'd contact police himself. Then: "I'm suing you, brother. It's going too far. You playing with my name." He said he hadn't planned to sue, but the claims threaten his livelihood and could follow his family. Per win.gg he also said he's put more than $3 million into Clover Boys, that he'd helped Reggie when "people were after" him, and that Reggie disrespected his sister on a call. TheGrio and HotNewHipHop carried the same beats.

## What's not confirmed No lawsuit had been filed and no police action reported as of Oct. 1. Reggie's claims have no corroboration on the record. We're not repeating the specifics, and we're not going to pretend a livestream is evidence in either direction.
## Clover after this Reggie says he's leaving Twitch for YouTube, claiming Kai "runs" Twitch. After Kai's stream, Chen-Ruei "Ray" Hsu posted on X that he was out too: "Bye, Clover. It's over." That's two departures in a week from a group Kai put money into to prove that Black creators could own their own pipeline instead of renting someone else's. We wrote about that bet and who really owns the audience this week. This is the stress test.

## The read A $3 million investment, a younger creator at the center, and a falling-out playing out on IG Live instead of in a lawyer's office. Kai did the right thing by pointing to police and a courtroom. Whether a filing follows is the only update that will mean anything.
